Renting Conditions

Car Rental Conditions:

The rented vehicle is only used by the persons specified in the rental agreement and delivery form. Damages that may arise from the use of the vehicle by any third party not specified in the contract are not covered by the warranty.

Tenant/Driver must have at least 3 years of driver's license and be 21 years of age or older.

License:

Users who do not use a Latin alphabet license must present their valid international driver's license and passport (if T.C is not a citizen) in addition to their own driver's license at the time of rental.

Rental Term and payment terms:

The rental period is calculated over 24-hour periods. The monthly rental period is calculated over 30 days. Your rental starts from the time written in the rental agreement and is calculated as 1 rental day at the end of the 24-hour period.

During the rental, your valid credit card will be blocked in amounts ranging from 5000 TL to 10.000 TL, depending on the vehicle groups and exemption costs.

Depending on the bank transactions, the blocking fee will be reflected in your account, Provided that there is no possible additional payment obligation after the end of your rental period. This period may take up to 5 - 15 working days depending on the banking transactions.

For prepaid reservations, if there is not enough limit up to the blocked amount on the credit card including the rent, if the prepayment is not made, a valid credit card cannot be presented on behalf of the tenant or there is no driver's license requirement, the vehicle will not be given even if the reservation is confirmed.

Late Delivery:

If your vehicle is returned for 2 hours or more according to the return time, the daily fee valid for that day will be added to the rental agreement and will be charged to your credit card.

Our prices include VAT.

Extension:

You are obliged to inform the relevant office of your request for an extension for the vehicle at least 1 day (24 hours) before the end of the rental. The extension request can be made with the approval of the relevant rental office. The extension fee can be claimed at Duray Rent A Car prices according to the terms of the agreement.

Fuel:

Please return the vehicle with the amount of fuel you received when receiving it.

Vehicle Delivery:

Your reservation is converged on the vehicle group and no brand and/or model guarantees are provided. If you cannot be allocated the vehicle or equivalent you request, you will be given a top group of vehicles or given another vehicle by price update.

For all your bookings, it's important to keep a close eye on your flight number and pick-up time, if any. Forwarding your flight number will make it easier for us to track possible delays and updates to your flight. If you have not arrived to pick up the vehicle 1 hour after the time you will receive the vehicle, the relevant reservation may be cancelled if you cannot be reached.

One Way Rentals:

If the pick-up and drop-off stations are in different cities or districts at the time of booking, an additional fee determined by Duray Rent A Car will be charged according to the characteristics between the two stations.

Damage Assurance Package:

Our vehicle assurance plans vary according to the campaigns and prices. Details of the assurance plan are indicated in our contract and on your delivery form.

You can purchase assurances that are not included in your prices from our sales offices at the beginning of the rental.

We have a legal obligation to insure against third parties. In the event of an accident, if you injure, kill or damage a person's property, the officially stated traffic insurance limits apply (limits under Traffic insurance apply for damages to property). By obtaining IMM assurance, you can provide assurance against third parties in case of possible accidents above the legal limits covered by traffic insurance.

If you receive the LCF protection package, the costs of tyre explosions and splits that occur without a traffic accident, breaking the windows, headlights, signal lights and exterior mirrors of the vehicle are covered.

If you receive the Mini Damage Pack, it covers scratches up to 7.5cm on the Vehicle, dents up to 2.5cm, scratches up to 4cm on the rim and stone damage up to 5mm on the glass. It includes damages up to a maximum of 3500TL.

Our Full Insurance package covers the LCF and Mini Damage package.

Important Information:

In the event of an accident, it is mandatory to keep an accident detection report in accordance with the shape of the accident without relocating the vehicle or to contact the nearest police or gendarmerie station and to obtain accident, theft and alcohol detection reports immediately and not more than 24 hours, and to provide information on line +90 232 274 12 16, which serves 24/7.

It is imperative to obtain multiple images of the accident at the scene with the shape of the accident and the license plate of the location of the accident visible.

In case of theft of the vehicle, it is mandatory to contact the nearest police or gendarmerie station immediately and not later than 24 hours and inform the Full Support Line on 7/24 +90 232 274 12 16. Otherwise, any damages that occur by voiding all purchased guarantees are collected from the tenant, including material and moral losses to 3 persons. In case of vehicle failure or need support for any reason, assistance should be provided on +90 232 274 12 16, which is available 24/7.

In case of a single-party accident of the vehicle, accident, theft and alcohol detection reports should be obtained by contacting the nearest police or gendarmerie station without relocating (the vehicle).

In double-PARTY accidents, drivers are obliged to fill out the Materially Damaged Accident Detection Report as specified in the report, except as reported in the following articles.

Circumstances Excluded from Damage Assurance Packages:

Any accident involving the person driving the car under the influence of alcohol or drugs exceeding the legal limit

Connecting the car by traffic due to the driver

Shooting of the bottom of the car (Starter, crank) without accident

Burning of the car's seat flooring, spillage, overly dirty delivery

Damage caused by the use of the car on mountainous terrain, sand dunes, swamps, sandy beaches, etc. in roads that are not suitable for traffic, the use of cars on purposes, places and roads contrary to their tolerance powers and characteristics, rallying, speed trials, motor sports and traffic-free areas.

The renter is responsible for damages and defects caused by sloppy, careless or excessive coercion determined and reported by authorized services.

Theft of your personal belongings from the car, theft of the key of the vehicle, falling into the water, loss of license, license plate and/or avalanche, rim cover and stepper losses, loss and damage of additional rented products,

Accidents or damages involving a driver not registered in the contract

Damage caused by natural disasters.

Damage caused by the transport of cage-free animals in the car.

All damages, including any mechanical and electrical damage caused by error of use and/or carelessness, recklessness, etc. (including, but not limited to, faulty gear shifting, transmission failure, damage caused by continued use of the vehicle even though the warning light is on, fuel failures and damages, etc.)

Damage caused by vandalism, terrorism or social events

Expenses, damages, etc. as a result of inaccurate or incomplete information during rental.

Force majeure:

IN THE FACE OF COUNTER-AND SINGLE-PARTY TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS, THE RENTER MUST PROVIDE AN ACCIDENT REPORT AND ALCOHOL REPORT. THE RENTER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED IN THE EVENT OF NO RELATED REPORTS

Traffic Tickets

Payment of traffic fines issued as a result of non-compliance with traffic rules (including entering the wrong lane on bridges and highways) will be charged to the credit card of the person renting the vehicle specified in the contract. During the collection process of traffic tickets to be reflected during the rental period of the vehicle, a 10% Service Fee will be charged except for the traffic penalty fee.

Early Delivery:

There is no refund if the vehicle is returned before the return date after receipt. But you can use it on the next reservation.

Extension of Rental Period:

Upon the expiration of the rental period, the Tenant will not be able to unilaterally extend the rental period. If the tenant wishes to extend the rental period, the lease period can be extended with the written approval of the renter or the tenant will consent to the new vehicle. If the Leaser does not approve the Tenant's request to extend the lease period, and in any case, the lease period specified in this Agreement is about to expire; the tenant will leave the rental vehicle at the return location specified in the rental contract. Rent extensions will be subject to the terms of this agreement, even if the next lease agreement is not signed. If the request for an extension of the lease period requested by the customer is approved by our company, the extension process is made not at the price at which the vehicle is rented, but at the current price of the vehicle at the time of the extension. The tenant agrees that failure to deliver the vehicle despite the expiry of the contract period constitutes a crime under the provisions of criminal law and will not detain the vehicle outside the lease period. It acknowledges and declares that it knows that it will not be able to benefit from insurance, coverage and legal rights after the expiration of the lease period and/or during the unlawful use of vehicles. If an extension is requested within the reservation period after the end of the rental period, the price will be recalculated by the system and the additional amount will be charged to the credit card of the tenant specified at the beginning of the lease period.

Online booking conditions, change of booking or cancellation:

For prepaid reservations, rental day, time, vehicle information cannot be updated or changed. If a reservation change is requested, the reservation must be cancelled. The cancellation and return conditions set out below apply. After cancellation, a new reservation can be made according to the desired change.

In case the rental period exceeds the return date specified on the booking form, the additional fee that will occur when the rental agreement is extended will be charged to the credit card presented by our customer at the beginning of the rental and the Duray Rent A Car list prices valid on the date of extension.

Cancellations made 24 hours before the start date and time of booking are refunded free of charge. For cancellations made 24 hours in time, a 1-day rental fee will be charged and the remaining fee will be refunded. (No refunds for 1 day bookings)

Refunds for Prepaid reservations will be credited to your card after a maximum of 10 business days, depending on the density of the banks' transactions.

For prepaid and on-site reservations, the reserved car is guaranteed for 2 hours from the time of booking. If the vehicle is not picked up during this period, the reservation will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

If you make your reservation after the time of purchase or in case of an unspecified cancellation request, the prepayment amount will be charged in full and will not be refunded. If the following conditions are not met, the vehicle will not be allocated and the refund will not take place.

Please note that the form of payment is a credit card only and there is no cash payment and debit card application.

The provision amount, which varies according to rental and vehicle groups, must be provided from the person's credit card. The credit card must have the name and surname information of the person who will rent *In addition to the rental price, there must be sufficient limit for the amount of deposit to be placed on the credit card.

Please do not forget to type your flight number at the time of booking in order to avoid any mishaps due to delays due to the lack of flight number in the airport offices.

Prepaid reservations delivered earlier than the day you need to return will not be refunded. A request for changes to the return date must be made from the relevant office prior to the start of the rental. Change requests to be requested at or after the rental are invalid.

Responsibilities of the Charterer and Additional Driver:

The vehicle is at your risk, along with its accessories and key (other keys, if any). Keep the vehicle locked whenever you are not using it and use it if there is a safety device issued or installed in the vehicle. You must protect the vehicle against bad weather that can cause damage. Make sure you are using the right and appropriate fuel. Check the oil and engine temperature levels and keep the tyre air at the level it should be.

It is your responsibility to drive the vehicle in accordance with safe, road conditions and speed limits.

As long as the rental agreement continues, you must use the car as the "owner" of the vehicle in accordance with the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918 dated 13.10.1983 and the Traffic Rules No. 26901. You are responsible for any offences, parking tickets, traffic tickets that will arise later. In addition, if requested from you, you are obliged to provide all the requested information regarding you and the additional driver with you. If you do not provide this information in full and in full, you are responsible for all of this. Due to the obligations described in this paragraph, the rental agreement will remain in force until the vehicle is returned to us.

HGS is present in our vehicles throughout our fleet. When your rental period ends, your HGS usage information will reach our offices and the toll will be charged to your credit card. Since the collection process related to the toll is connected to the General Directorate of Highways, it is possible to collect later than the usual times. If you switch from OGS toll booths with our vehicles that are HGS; you're illegally crossing. The illegal toll (as in other traffic violations) is paid to the relevant government agencies by Duray Rent A Car and the illegal toll (as in other traffic violations) is charged to the credit card presented during the rental process.

You are responsible for all damages caused by the vehicle hitting low-level places such as bridges and pits, using it in mountainous terrain, swamps and beaches, and damage caused by water entering the engine or other parts of the vehicle due to its use in these places.

You may not sell, rent or dispose of the vehicle and any part of it. You may not give legal rights to any person on the vehicle and you may not transfer your own rights. For safety reasons, do not complete liquid levels of brakes, clutches, transmission oils or engine coolers under any circumstances. If any warning lights are on or low oil levels are seen on the dashboard, please contact us immediately.

You must not allow any person to work on the vehicle without any written permission. If we give you your consent, you will be paid if you document the expenses related to the work done.

If you detect any vehicle-related glitches, you should alert us immediately.

You must bring the vehicle to the place where we have already agreed with you within our normal working hours. The condition of the vehicle should be checked and received by our employees or authorized persons. If you are unable to control the condition of the vehicle or have agreed to return the vehicle outside of working hours, you are responsible for any damages incurring by the person or our employee in the period from the beginning of the workday to the date of operation within 6 hours of the start of the work.

Due to changes made to the vehicle beyond our consent, the renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle due to changes made to the vehicle( e.g. for extra repair time or for the necessary materials and tools) or for damage to the vehicle due to the use of any electrical or electronic apparatus due to its connection to the vehicle or being in the vehicle. Use the devices you will use in accordance with the user manuals and receive information from the office staff.

At the end of the rental, check if you have any personal belongings in the vehicle. Responsibility for special items forgotten in the vehicle belongs to the renter

Conditions for Using the Tool:

You should not use the vehicle to race, to speed, to test the durability and speed of the vehicle, and to teach someone else how to drive.

You should not use the vehicle while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

You should not use the tool outside the borders of Turkey unless we give you written permission.

You must not carry passengers above the specified passenger capacity of the vehicle.

You and other drivers mentioned in the contract should not use it to push or tow other vehicles or items that move or do not move unless we give written consent

You should not use it for the carriage of passengers or goods in exchange for an open or confidential income.

You should not use it for the carriage of items contrary to customs legislation and other laws and other illegal works.

Do not use it for the transport of flammable or hazardous substances, as well as toxic, corrosive, radioactive or other harmful substances.

The damage caused by the transport of live animals (except pets) - which damages the vehicle due to its smell or condition or carries anything that causes Duray Rent A Car to lose time or money to re-rent the vehicle - belongs to the renter.

Unless supplied by Duray Rent A Car, portbags, baggage carriers or similar items must be re-leased or used by others. If these are not complied with, the costs that may arise from liability belong entirely to the renter.

No passenger transport should be made for rental or reward.

Do not drive to participate in rallies, competitions or trials, or to give driving lessons, wherever they are.

It is forbidden to travel on unpaved roads, on roads that may endanger the wheels, tires or mechanics of the vehicle in the case of surface or repair, and the resulting damage is entirely at the user's own risk.

None of the goods and luggage carried in the vehicle (including packaging and stacking equipment) may damage the vehicle, putting passengers at risk.

It must comply with the Highways Act, road traffic laws or other similar laws.

Findeks-Based Inquiry:

Where necessary, Findekse based Score inquiry and authorization can be performed during the rental process, which applies to our customers who will rent a car from our company for the first time.

What to Do at the Time of An Accident:

To obtain a photocopy or legible image of the driver's license, license and traffic insurance policies of the party/parties in double-sided accidents,

If the drive is too young,

Obtain multiple images of the scene of the accident with the shape and location of the license plate visible,

Not to leave the vehicle without adequate safety measures,

If the driver has a suspicion of mental health and alcohol,

If the driver is driving an undocumented motor vehicle,

If one of the vehicles involved in the accident has official license plates,

If damage has occurred to public property,

Conditions that require termination of the Contract:

If you do not comply with the following conditions, the contract will be terminated unilaterally by Duray Rent A Car.

If you are a final consumer, if the rental fees are not paid on time, the contract will be terminated without any notice or notice. In this case, the tenant must immediately return the car. If the vehicle is not returned, the tenant formally acknowledges and undertakes to commit the offence of abuse of trust. If we find that any of your property has been foreclosed on or that such a matter has been communicated to you in exchange for your debts, this contract will be unilaterally terminated by Duray Rent A Car.

If you are a commercial company, the contract is unilaterally terminated by Duray Rent A Car if:

If your company is in liquidation, trustee, food or follow-up

If you took legal action to deal with creditors

If we determine that your goods have been foreclosed on in exchange for their debts

If you do not comply with the terms of this agreement

Our unilateral termination of this agreement shall not affect our collection of your debts arising from this agreement. If you do not meet the main requirements of this agreement, we reserve the right to charge you additional fees. We will take the vehicle back from you and may charge you an additional fee for this situation.
